Pirnar offers laminated safety glass (VSG), which stays intact even after cracking thanks to a special sheet of foil, as well as tempered safety glass, which is extremely strong and which breaks into blunt bits when cracking instead of splintering. Both solutions ensure a high level of security and less risk of damage.

MILD CLEANING AGENTS
To keep the great look of matte or etched glass, we recommend regular cleaning with a damp towel and mild cleaning agents without corrosives. Avoid using the coarse side of sponges or aggressive chemicals, which could damage your door’s surface finish.
MILD CLEANING
Glass elegantly covering the entire outer ALU surface of your door leaf is a symbol of modern design and technical prowess. Regardless of choice between matte and gloss, we recommend light cleaning with a soft microfibre cloth and a neutral cleaning agent.
AFTER RAIN OR SNOW
Even though security glass is extremely resistant, we recommend regular cleaning after strong rain or snow storms, as well as during pollen season. This prevents filth from accumulating and causing permanent damage to your door’s aesthetics
EXPOSURE TO THE SUN
Even though Pirnar glass already provides UV protection, we recommend additional protection in the event of long-term exposure to the sun (e.g. for southern-facing doors), such as with an umbrella or overhang.
