We are pleased to announce the introduction of a next-generation barrel hinge that sets new standards in entrance door technology. The innovative solution addresses one of the key challenges of modern construction – ensuring maximum airtightness and thermal efficiency of the system without compromising load-bearing capacity and functionality.

Uninterrupted internal sealing

The main technical innovation of the new hinge system represents a breakthrough in the method of attachment. The load-bearing mounting plate is fixed to the door frame so that the fastening element passes through a lateral opening (slot) in the profile, bypassing the compression seal without interrupting it.

This achieves what was not possible in previous generations: the internal compression seal remains completely uninterrupted, even in the hinge area. The result is improved airtightness of the door and reduced air permeability – a critical factor in the energy efficiency of modern buildings.

Technical excellence without compromises

The key advantage of the solution is the establishment of an uninterrupted internal sealing plane on the CarbonCore structure while maintaining full load-bearing capacity and joint rigidity.

The hinge is mechanically anchored into the inner chamber of the profile with multi-point fastening, ensuring:

• High resistance to door leaf bending forces.
• Exceptional airtightness of the system.
• Optimal thermal efficiency.

Precise three-dimensional adjustment

The new barrel hinge offers a wide range of three-dimensional leaf adjustment, enabling precise alignment even during installation:

• +/- 3.0 mm in height (up–down)
• +/- 1.5 mm horizontally (left–right)
• +/- 0.5 mm in depth (inward–outward, adjustment of pressure on seals)
